So, I did a MAJOR thing… I’ve relocated to Paris!!!! This is a lifelong dream that I had no clue “how” it would come to fruition!
Back in November 2023, I, along with my friends at BARN Global, hosted my first fashion and art exhibition in Paris, France. It was totally supernatural how all this even came about. I had wanted to live in Paris for years, but it seemed that every attempt I made to “make it happen” failed miserably and I was left with frustration and disappointment. I knew, from the first time I visited France, something was different…special. I knew I belonged there. It was more than just a vacation or the novelty of the new experience. This was home.
Over the years, I’d allowed the desire to be in Paris to be pushed to the back burner of my life. To be honest, it was removed from the stove completely. And so I thought. I continued to live a really good life and had settled on the idea of having a “normal” life for a few years. Then the day came. My brother had been praying every night at midnight in December 2022. I would join him sometimes, if I was awake. One night, he said, “Kiki, God said pick your fashion thing back up! Pick a date and go! He’ll be with you!” I’m like…huh???? I hadn’t thought about fashion, art, events, or anything creative in a while! So, I just shrugged it off and went about my business. That same morning, I was online with a friend and somehow ended up meeting some amazing people who started to prophesy (speak God’s mind) concerning me. By the end of that conversation, I’d been invited to France to put on a production! When I say, the Lord works quickly! His timing is everything!
I let them know of the date and everything was in motion! We ended up having the production and it was AMAZING! After the show, my family, who had come over from the States to see the show, went out sight-seeing. Holy Spirit told me not to go with them because I’d have plenty of time for that. He wanted me to do something. As I walked the city, he told me to pray over the people in that nation. While praying, he told me I would be moving there! The date that popped in my spirit was August 31, 2024. He told me that I needed to be gone from my job by then! 😱 Keep in mind, my job and my residence is linked. No job means I had to relinquish my beautiful luxury apartment (It came with the job)! Not only that, when I returned to work, I had to tell my boss immediately! Oh Gawd!!!! Once, that was done, there was no turning back!
